Hi, Kia Ora and Welcome….
So this is a fresh start for me. I have been playing around with blogging for over a year and a half now, with zero previous experience. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks!
Now, there has come a time where I really want to make my passion my lifestyle and career. So that means making a commitment to get serious about this “Freedom Lifestyle”. No it’s not all holidays and cocktails. I have spent hours some days putting things together. So I am really going to get my back into now and make my dream a reality.
Up grading my site was a first step I wanted to take, and oh my God how much I have learnt. Widget, SEO, Plugins, FTP file, hell I wouldn’t have had a clue what you were on about 1.5 years ago. Now I’m slowing learning and hopefully getting better.
BUT, as I was in the process of changing over sites I have lost all my previous blog posts, damn! Yep I had backups, thought I did everything right. But Murphy’s law, if its gunna go wrong it will for me.
2017 is fast approaching…………………Adventure awaits.
As I look back on 2016 and especially the last 5 years a lot has happened.
Everything and nothing has changed. Yes a total contradiction but true in a sense on how my life has played out in resent years.
In May 2011 I left New Zealand for Paris on a one-way ticket. My 40th birthday was looming and I suppose I was running away from facing that reality.
I really want to share this from earlier on in the year where I did a blog post for HER PACKING LIST on my experience traveling through MOROCCO.
It was great doing an interview for an established group like HPL. So when they asked if any one wanted to talk about their experience on SOLO FEMALE TRAVEL I jumped at the chance. They have wonderful tips on packing and related topics. It’s also a great forum to connect with other like-minded women.
When it came to thinking about what I was going to say, it was interesting to see that people can go to the same place and do similar things but have such varied experiences. Good or bad.
